Happy Thursday Beautiful Humans 💙🎶
Today feels especially meaningful.
I’m sharing more about “Life Beat (2026 Mix)” — a reimagining of the song I originally released in 2012, just before my hiatus. That time in my life was layered and uncertain, but this song always carried a pulse that felt bigger than the moment I was in.
During my healing journey with Bell’s Palsy, I found myself returning to “Life Beat.” Not to change its message — but to reconnect with it. To let its rhythm ground me on days when my body felt unfamiliar and my confidence needed rebuilding. Music has always been medicine for me, and this song became part of that recovery.
There’s a musical term: “Da Capo.”
It means go back to the beginning.
When I think about recovering from Bell’s Palsy and revisiting this song, “Da Capo” feels symbolic. Healing required me to go back — back to my foundation, back to my strength, back to why I started making music in the first place. Revisiting “Life Beat” wasn’t about living in the past. It was about returning to the core and moving forward with deeper understanding.
The 2026 Mix honors that.
Same heart. Same intention. A stronger, fuller pulse.
Because the truth is…
The beat of life keeps us dancing — even when we have to start again.
