The Rise Above Racism campaign brings to the forefront the issue of anti-Indigenous racism within the Canadian Healthcare system.

The campaign was inspired by the tragic death of Joyce Echaquan in Quebec. Her courage in sharing her experience with the nation is honoured. We will continue to work diligently with our partners to address anti-Indigenous racism in all forms, and notably in health systems.

In Need of Heart. According to a recent study 78% of Indigenous people have experienced racism in the healthcare system.
