Join us for a Vintage Cake Workshop with of Make Kwento!
You’ll learn the art of vintage cake decorating, from classic buttercream piping techniques like ruffles and shells to making your own sugared fruits from scratch. Each guest will decorate their own 6” cake and create a still life-inspired design, finished with edible flowers.

Kim & Boris are the couple behind Two Whimsical Florists, a silk & artificial floral studio in Toronto that began with their wedding in 2023 and quickly grew into an entrepreneurial journey. Since then, Two Whimsical Florists has worked with over 1000 couples to bring their dream visions to life while staying within their budget. Their offerings range from whimsical bridesmaid bouquets ($38) to statement pieces that reflect the couples they work with.

Q: Has anything inspired you in a new way recently?
I think in the wedding industry, certain colours are seen as more acceptable or common, while others are seen as “ugly” or harder to work with. Budgets can feel the same way. There’s this idea that you can only achieve something beautiful or impactful with a big budget. But I’ve actually found that working with smaller budgets pushes us to be more creative, and ask, how can we use less while still being just as impactful?
