By the tender age of 8, Mr. Fresh was already claiming his space as an earth warrior and eco-conscious advocate in his home community of Jane and Finch; Where he embraced the uniqueness and through vision and ingenuity was able to transform public opinion, increase community awareness, and through small dedicated steps forward, gain momentum and a following that now spans the globe. Often referrin
g to his motivation as being “Powered by Nature”, Mr. Fresh harnessed all he could and took being a social eco-entrepreneur to an entirely new level. At just 13 years old, the young kidpreneur innovator had become the CEO of his own company, and released Mr. Fresh Air-Freshener, an environmentally friendly eco-conscious product which gave consumers an alternative to the chemical-based air fresheners on the market. Driven by passion and powered by nature, Mr. Fresh took his message directly to the people, selling over 20,000 bottles (door-to-door) and educating communities young and old on the spiritual union of self and mother earth, unearthing our own power, and spiritual enlightenment. In 2010, after years of community and environmental advocacy, Mr. Fresh received formal acknowledgement from the City of Toronto for his longstanding commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of diverse communities. Nearly a decade after his humble beginnings, many speculated as to what Mr. Fresh could possibly do next, as it seems the “Keep It Fresh” salesman has accomplished quite a bit. Staying true to his form Mr. Fresh responded with an energy that he has become known for, saying this “the work of aligning members of our community back to mother earth is never done. We are taking this to the schools, the youth, it’s time for the next generation to be empowered, the fresh and famous generation, that’s what I call it...”
