That ordinary fact is the foundation of how we work. The body isn't only plumbing and chemistry — underneath runs a current, and that current carries a pattern that keeps you in shape and puts you back together. A cut proves it: the wounded skin generates its own electric field, between 40 and 200 millivolts per millimetre, and your cells migrate toward it to close the gap.
