Order Desk/Customer Service Representative in Distribution Company
Permanent Placement, Full time, North York
Our client, a well-established distribution company, located in the North York area, is looking for a full-time Order Desk to join their team.
Job duties:
• Processing shipping labels, packing slips and invoices
• Processing and entering orders into the computer software using QuickBooks
• Answering incoming calls
• Receiving orders from business customers, via phone, email and fax
• Handling a large volume of orders and paperwork
• Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate for the Customer Service Representative/ Order Desk role will have the following attributes:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a MUST
• 2+ years customer service or office administration or order desk experience
• Good communication and computer skills
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently, day to day problem solving
• Must be able to multitask
• Experience working in manufacturing business

Perfect Choice Employment is looking for an entry-level payroll assistant. This job is a permanent full-time Monday-Friday position 9am - 5pm and is available immediately! The pay will start at$16 but can be discussed depending on experience.
Qualifications:
-Eligible to work in Canada (NO STUDENTS! Work Permits are acceptable)
-Fluent in English, reading, and writing.
-Excellent data entry and math skills.
-Experience in QuickBooks is mandatory.
-Strong customer service skills, problem solving skills and critical and analytical thinking ability.
-Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook mail, and Internet explorer is a must.
Assistants working in a payroll office will perform the duties, tasks, and responsibilities as stated in the job description below:
-Work out staff modifications such as direct deposit, garnishments, etc as required.
-Find solution to discrepancies by analyzing and evaluating information.
-Give responses to and answer payroll inquiries promptly.
-Carry out regular clerical functions which involve faxing, filing, copying, and emailing.
-Revise diverse spreadsheets to maintain precise records.
-Communicate by email and phone with employees/ employers regarding payroll issues or discrepancies while ensuring confidentiality of information.
-Work as support recruiting candidates by scheduling and entering new hire personal information as well as update employee information on our database.

You will be roasting peanuts by the kettle and be working in a hot environment.

Job purpose:
To follow the production schedule and manage the movement of raw materials and finished goods in a manner that ensures product safety and quality.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Ensure that all incoming goods are properly labelled and moved to the right location
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
• Comply with all company policies; always maintain a safe work environment.
• Always Follow GMP policy. always Maintain clean work environment.
• Other duties as required.
• Help moving skids from production line.
• Respect the allergen procedure and ensures that cross contamination with the allergens does not occur.
• Ensure a safe workplace by following the company safety policies and procedures including the accountability for reduction of and control of accident costs.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Certification to ride forklift truck preferred
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
