Better With Bree

I LOVE FORAGING!!!! 🌱🌱🌱
Today I was out walking in the backyard of the house we are staying in and I stumbled upon a couple of big sections of Wood Sorrel. They look similar to clover but have heart-shaped leaves and in this case tiny yellow flowers.

I LOVE Wood Sorrel because they have an amazing tangy lemony taste to them and are sooo so yummy (and pretty) in salads.

THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU TOO!! These little foraged “weeds” are packed with Vit C and A. This specific plant that I foraged is also called Oxalis Stricta and they contain oxalic acid which should not be consumed in large quantities!
