🎗️Support Group Sessions 🌱

Mark your calendars! We have a few support group sessions coming up, led by the CanStutter team.

These sessions foster inclusive discussion and provide a dedicated space to share your thoughts.

📍Why join us?
Support groups are a powerful tool for emotional well being. They offer a unique opportunity to find solidarity, reduce the anxiety often associated with speaking, and learn from the diverse perspectives of others in the stuttering community. Whether you want to speak up or just listen, you are welcome here.

🌟CanStutter is proud to introduce our new ‘Participate in Research’ page. Here, you will find research opportunities approved by recognized ethics committees, all dedicated to advancing our understanding of stuttering.

🫂Why is Partaking in Research Important? 💡
1. Stuttering is highly diverse and unique, you help ensure that new therapies or neurological findings account for the wide variety of ways people actually experience stuttering.
2. You help in advancing neurological understanding.
3. When you share your lived experience, you provide the evidence needed to advocate for better accommodations in schools and workplaces, helping to dismantle the stigma that stuttering is linked to intelligence or anxiety.
4. You become an active contributor to the global body of knowledge.

If you are a researcher and wish to advertise your study for recruitment through CanStutter’s website, newsletter, and social media platforms, please submit an application for consideration.

If you know of anyone that meets the requirements and is eligible to participate in these researches, please share and spread the word 🗣️
