Made To Move

On Saturday, November 30th, I celebrated the 4th anniversary of Made To Move by being honoured with the EARLY CAREER AWARD from the Ontario Chiropractic Association.

Two of my biggest passions are dance and Chiropractic. I love being a Chiropractor, and I am so honoured to have been recognized by a group of doctors that are leaders in healthcare in Canada.

Thank you to my Dad, my Dad’s partner Marc, and my partner Shawn for cheering me on from the audience. It was such a special day that I will never forget. Thank you to the OCA, and to Dr. Nardine Bekhit for their lovely introduction and for Dr. Emily Ruzicka-Serbin for their nomination!

🚨Made To Move is excited to welcome Julia to the team!🚨

Julia isa graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, Vimy Ridge Dance Program (Edmonton School of Ballet), George Brown Dance, and has completed a mentorship through Ballet Jörgen under Bengt Jörgen. Throughout her massage training, Julia has had the opportunity to work with dancers, athletes, including Sutherland-Chan’s postural clinic, seniors clinic, multiple sclerosis clinic, as well as a variety of patients of all ages and experience.

Julia has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, neck pain, TMJ disorders, frozen shoulder, low back pain, running injuries, and extremity conditions as well as sessions geared towards relaxation or mental wellbeing and digestion issues. Julia combines fascial work, Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, and trigger point therapy. Julia strives to always create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all of her patients, new and returning. Outside of the clinic, Julia spends
her time training in ballet (pointe), pole dancing, as well as performing around the city as a freelance dancer with several entertainment companies.
