My love for jewelry and accessories alike dates back to when I was a little girl who would spend countless hours admiring every single piece in my mother’s jewelry box. What can I say – I was drawn to the *SPARKLE* and even as a young girl with a young mind, I had a great appreciation for intricate details. When it came time to pick a career path, I decided to go the left-brain route and completed
a degree in Mathematics (Actuarial Science major) at the University of Waterloo. After spending five years working in analytics, I couldn’t shake off the desire to find a creative outlet to express my love for jewelry. I started off by making pieces for myself that I couldn’t find in stores and with more time, practice, and fine-tuning, I gained enough confidence to gift them to family and friends. It was never my intention to turn my love for jewelry into a one-woman business operation, but with the overwhelming encouragement I received, I decided to take that leap of faith and started QUINSCO – my life’s passion project. The philosophy behind QUINSCO takes after my own personal style esthetic, that is: simple, chic, and always put together. The pieces that embody my collection are designed to be versatile so that you can mix and match them to create tailored and personalized looks. Every piece is delicately handmade by yours truly and since I’m a firm believer in "quality over quantity”, I treat every single order as if it was my first.
