- Hold a Neutral Face: relax into your default face while keeping alertness, or else you’re going to have to hold that strained smile the entire night 😌
- Genuine Laughs Only: laughter padding is contagious and energy intensive
- Be Comfortable with Pauses: use pauses to self-regulate, ground your energy to remain conscious
- Breathe Throughout: keeps you grounded in the flow of conversations
- Be Present: it takes courage to be consciously present, but we waste more energy overthinking in live moments
- Ask Questions: genuine curiosity creates organic conversations
