Long story short, my Cartier AD called my bluff so I ended up adding another core piece to the collection 🤷🏽‍♂️.

The Cartier Tank Louis Cartier in Rose Gold.

In 2025, Cartier decided to be confusing. They beefed up the size of the Tank LC but instead of naming it “extra large” (which would’ve been too easy), they called this one large and demoted the old “large” to “medium”. Aside from that, they finally made it automatic by bringing over the 1899MC movement, originally introduced in 2019 in the Tank Americaine.
