The articles of this stand-alone issue all focus on dissecting a nuanced manifestation of Islamic culture in an arguably post-colonial, modern nation with a rich history stretching far before its settlement in the 17th century. How does Canadian national identity intersect with its up and coming, religiously diverse identity? How does Islam exist for Muslims that exist in this settler-colonial space?
