"I didn't realize what a unique social experience school was until I graduated. Where else can you find a bunch of people around your age with similar interests and shared experiences? I didn't have a job lined up at first so I ended up with a lot of free time. I wanted to finally get to know people in my neighbourhood, so I joined some groups on social media and constantly checked various event platforms. I came to know that there was a lot of events for young children and older adults, but nothing for young adults. I had to browse a ton and what little I found was nowhere near my small town of Aurora. That was my inspiration for cofounding HumeOne, a social platform for hyper-local gatherings that makes it easy to meet new people."
