Wellspring Cancer Support

After being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Sandra Gabriel wasn’t sure she wanted support.
“I’ll be honest – I didn’t want to go [to Wellspring],” she says. “Going meant admitting I had cancer and needed help.”
But through Wellspring’s Cancer Exercise Program, Sandra found more than physical strength – she found connection, encouragement, and people who truly understood.
“We share experiences, we encourage each other, we check in,” she says. “Even if our situations are different, there’s this understanding you don’t have to explain.”

May is Leave a Legacy month in Canada. A bequest or gift by will is a simple and thoughtful way to leave a personal legacy, representing your life and values.
After finding support and community at Wellspring during her cancer journey, Jane made the decision to leave a gift in her will. Wellspring picked her up when she needed it most, and she wants it to be there for others, too.
