How one request became a menu must-try! 💥⭐Our Gong Bao Chicken* hits those craveable flavour notes every time.
We created this recipe after one of our partner child care centres asked for more Chinese inspiration on the menu, and it's been a beloved real food favourite ever since. It’s made with organic Ontario chicken and a blend of seasonings including ginger & garlic. It’s served with Canadian quinoa or a whole wheat roll, bell pepper and seasonal stone fruit. All in all, this lunch is proof that introducing new foods & worldly cuisines is one of the best ways to encourage food exploration in kids.
Make our Gong Bao Chicken at home! When you’re running out of kid-approved family meal ideas, RFRK’s got your back. Visit rfrk.com/real-food-recipes/gong-bao-chicken - it’s waiting to become one of your parenting wins.
*Herbivores will enjoy Gong Bao Tofu.

Next level service unlocked! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nothing beats hearing kind words like these from our centre partners:
“RFRK's menu is very popular among children and parents. Their service is also excellent-any questions can be promptly addressed with responses and solutions. Updates are received in a timely manner as well. Many children in our daycare have allergies, and their menu handling process is very safe, providing us with great convenience."
We’re known for making delicious food, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We also help child care centres feel supported with responsive service, timely communication, and one of the most comprehensive allergy management programs in the biz. 💚 We love serving up safety!

We're about to start a food fight... is it Curry Beef or Beef Curry? ⚔️🍛
Our Trinidadian Curry Beef is one of our recipes that causes the most friendly fiction, but it isn't dividing people because of how it tastes, it's because of what to call it. While you debate the name, we've taken care of the rest: the recipe is now live!
AND there's a plant-based version too, our Trinidadian Curry Tofu, because no one should miss out.
Created alongside an ECE from the RFRK community whose Trinidadian heritage inspired the dish, it's loaded with kid-friendly spices, hearty root vegetables, and a rich curry sauce. We know this one's been on a lot of wish lists, and we're so excited to finally share it.

Swipe to see RFRK’s Pride Party! From games to music and scrumptious food, it was a great day.
🏳️‍🌈 No red flags here! 🌈 Our Pride Flag Matching Game encouraged us to look beyond the beautiful colours and learn what each flag represents. Add in a staff room dance party led by our very own DJ Tommy, and delicious Argentinian & Venezuelan food from LGBTQ+ owned restaurant Bar Bacan, the day was filled with moments that celebrated inclusivity & allyship while reminding us how we can create welcoming spaces for everyone in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The assignment? Keep showing up for one another. How did you celebrate Pride this month? Let us know in the comments!

Cool beans! 😎✨Our Tomato-Spinach Frijoles is a vegetarian lunch that delights omnivores too. We whip up this meal with pinto beans (frijoles means “beans” in Spanish!) in a hearty tomato base studded with spinach and other veggies, and just the right touch of herbs & spices for little palates. Sprinkled with a little shredded cheddar from local partners JensenCheese, it’s also served with basmati rice or mini potatoes, steamed carrots and banana. It’s a meal with plenty of fruit & veggie representation!
🌎This dish has several global influences! Just like FIFA, we love celebrating seeing the world come together. Have you been watching any matches with your littles ones? Let us know in the comments who you’ve been cheering for!
