The Toronto Police Service would like to update the public of a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:40 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing at 10 Glen Everest Road.

On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Sathiskumar Rajaratnam, 34, of Toronto was arrested. He has been charged with:

Second Degree Murder
He will appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 10 a.m., room 412.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an aggravated assault investigation.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Bloor Street West and Major Street area.

It is reported that:

two males became involved in a brief verbal interaction
one man punched the other causing him to fall unconscious
the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries
The suspect is described as late 30’s, 6'0", with a medium to muscular build, and balding. He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black back pack, and walking with a white and brown dog.

Security camera images of him are released.
