In TCM this time of year is the Yang moving into Yin.
That energy happens every day as the sunsets and the moon becomes more obvious in our skyline.
The summer, ☀️heat represents the Yang energy.
And the Winter 🥶 represents the yin energy
When our body is balanced, we have energy in the morning and we’re relaxed at night.
But this isn’t a perfect world and we’re not perfect people, especially now that the weather isn’t normal with these 24+ days in the beginning of November.
We still have to remind our bodies that it is that time of year when things cool down.
So this is a good way to support.
Acupuncture is very good as well but there’s always homework that you can do so I hope you follow these suggestions.
DM me if you have any questions at all

🌀 Post-Game Energy Reset: Calming Your Qi After the Blue Jays Loss ⚾️

Toronto, that was a rollercoaster! When excitement and adrenaline run high all week — and then suddenly crash — your nervous system can feel the aftershock. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this kind of emotional surge can scatter your Qi and leave you feeling tired, irritable, or even low.

💆‍♀️ TCM-Inspired Self-Care Tips to Regulate Your Nervous System:
✨ Acupuncture: Helps balance the Heart and Liver systems to smooth emotional Qi and calm the spirit.
🌿 Herbal teas: Try chamomile, chrysanthemum, or reishi to nourish the Shen (spirit) and ground your energy.
🫁 Breathwork: Gentle breathing or meditation to settle the Heart Fire and support the Lung — especially as we move deeper into autumn.
🛁 Warm baths or foot soaks: Add Epsom salts and a few drops of lavender oil to release tension and soothe the nerves.
🥣 Eat grounding foods: Think root veggies, soups, and warm grains to help anchor your Qi.

Let’s honour the season and our bodies by coming back to balance. 💙
