“Is social media marketing the way to go?”

I’m sure if you search on the internet you’ll find an overwhelming amount of information about where and how you should market your business.

Whether you’re considering a certain platform in the social media space or another medium to advertise, ask yourself the right question:

Is this medium used by my ideal customers?

Just because one marketing tactic works for your neighbour doesn’t mean it will work for your business.

Do your customers read the newspaper? No? Then don’t advertise there.

Do you customers spend a lot of time on Facebook and Instagram? Perhaps that’s something you should consider.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed when everyone around you is pushing different marketing solutions in your face.
