Let's talk about friendships today!

One thing our children and teenagers must know about friendships is the powerful influence it has on their character in the long run. This could be good or bad!

​As parents, we must pray and also strategically help our kids find "Iron-Sharpening-Iron" friendships (Prov. 27:17). These are friends who:
✅ Encourage them to be the best version of themselves
✅ Celebrate their wins instead of competing with them.
✅ Love them enough to tell them the truth, even when it’s hard.
And the list goes on...

There are no perfect friendships but it is important to avoid toxic ones!

📌​Let’s pray for our teens today that God would give them the discernment to choose the right friends and thhe courage to walk away from friendships that can derail or distract them 🙏❤️

Today the focus is Self awareness!
It's important that our children and teenagers know that emotions can be an indicator but does not have to be the dictator of their lives.

So before they take any action based on how they feel, they need to PAUSE and ask these questions:

⭐️ Why am I feeling this way?
⭐️ How do I process this feeling in a way that honours God?

Answering these questions will ensure they are responding and not reacting based on that emotions!

Remember the gap between a feeling and action is critical!‼️
