Today, September 30, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, we pay tribute to the children who never returned home and to the Survivors of residential schools, along with their families and communities. The acknowledgement of the tragic history, as well as the continuing effects of residential schools, is a crucial part of the reconciliation process.
