Happy ! 🧡✨ Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate Akilah Blackett, a true visionary and leader who has changed the lives of so many.
Three years ago, Akilah walked into Andron with just an idea—an idea that would soon become Afrika Outbound. She saw a need for Black youth to connect with their history in a meaningful way, to see themselves in the stories of resilience, strength, and brilliance that came before them. And because of her passion and dedication, over 60 young people have been able to experience something life-changing.
Akilah, your work, your heart, and your leadership continue to inspire us every day. You remind us that one person with a purpose can truly make an impact. Thank you for everything you do and for showing us what it means to uplift and empower the next generation.
