Sixteen years of love, loyalty, and unforgettable moments. Rylie just celebrated his 16th birthday—a milestone we prayed for. But as we watched him decline, our hearts broke a little more each day.

In September, we were told he had kidney failure. We fought for him, gave him all the care and love we could, and cherished every single moment. But there’s no coming back from kidney failure. We had the heart-wrenching moment of saying goodbye. The pain is immense, the house feels emptier, and the silence without his little paws is deafening.

We would have stayed up every night with him forever if it meant he could stay. But love means letting go when it’s time. Rylie, you took a piece of our hearts with you, but we know we’ll see you again one day.
