Home newborn photography and videography vs studio based.

I had this in my mind for a while.
Home photo and video sessions are growing popularity. There is a simple reason: keeping this experience stress free is the key, both for parents and their newborns.

Think of arranging a narrow time slot for studio reservation, putting the right clothes on entire family, driving to the destination place, making sure baby is asleep or content and calm, hoping it’s not too noisy or cold in the studio which could disturb baby’s mood.

This is a lot to think of. It’s also a long list of things which could be out of our control.

On the other hand, having a photographer / videographer to come to your home helps to keep normal routine running, capturing beautiful shots in their natural settings, with a minimum of preparation, changes and stress.

As a mom of a 20 day old baby, I can feel how challenging it would be for me to set a studio session with my baby. After a second week of life babies are still very sleepy but turn to be slightly fussier than right after birth, so keeping them calm while they are awake becomes a possible, yet a complex task.

Still worried that home shots won’t be as nice as in a studio?

With the right amount of day light and a talented professional who knows how to clear up the space, home made shots will be as nice as the ones taken in studio, what is more - they will reflect beautiful positive emotions which is possible to achieve only when family has peace in their mind and hearts.

Home or studio photo/video session?
