Bespoke Performance & Tuning

Some late nights, some early nights and some long nights but eventually she is running mint 👌👌. Mustapha's 16 STI with IAG shortblock and Full Race stock location kit put the hammer down... when you say sleeper.. this is the sleeper boss!!!

Some impromptu tuning on newly acquired 2001 V7 JDM STI.... It had full catted turboback exhaust, installed 3 port EBCS and a new DW300 fuel pump today and we carefully tuned it to a very mild Canadian gas tune (Car is going to be seeing alot of racing) Made tons of torque but kept top end on the safe end to preserve engine life.....

So when people say "It's fine to run JDM Subarus with stock JDM tune and I have never had a problem"... Well here is the proof... Completely stock 01 STI came in to get tuned for our fuel here...

First 2 images show the IAM (DAM) dropping from 16 to 14 and loads of feedback and fine knock corrections (upto -4.2°).... Quite lean uptop as well.. She was legit knocking hard and not a happy motor...

Next 2 images shows tuned runs.. No knock what so ever... Extremely safe tune..

Last image shows before and after power and torque curves.. Red is original and green is tuned. Tweaked fueling and boost and end up with similar hp/tq while being much smoother than factory tune..

So if anyone says its fine to run JDM market specific tunes... Well they are wrong...
