Can we retire the idea of perfection this year? Please?
Perfection is not the goal. It was never the goal. Perfection is an illusion that keeps you feeling like you're never doing enough.
Progress is the goal. Showing up is the goal. Being a little bit better than you were yesterday is the goal.
Some days you'll crush it. Some days you'll just survive. Both count. Both matter. Both are part of the process.
The woman who works out twice a week every week for a year is miles ahead of the woman who works out every day for three weeks and then quits. Consistency beats intensity. Always.
So give yourself permission to be imperfect. To have slow weeks. To take breaks. To be human.
