Summerseries2018 draws to a close, always great to get out and see dedicated athletes bust their butts...and now back to editing...

With the NFL Playoffs upon us, we turn to football, and go back to 2007 when Handsworth won the Provincial Championship defeating South Delta at BC Place....proud moment for the family when our son won the Subway eating contest at halftime .... !!!!

My resolution for 2018 is to start to organize the hundreds of thousand of photos I have in various formats...in doing so, I figure I might as well take a shot at TBT (throw back Thursdays) with some of the good ones I discover along the way ... the first set is perhaps the best basketball series ever played on the North Shore ... a bunch of guys went on to play NCAA, CIS, College and I think one guy even played for the Lakers... while I loved seeing the players on the floor, the coaches (sorry Glen... not sure why I did not have a pic of you) I think what is more interesting it to see the folks in the crowd and know that many continue to support the games some 12 + years later !! Now to try to figure out how to tag people !!!

Have spent some time this past week at the National Championships ......photos from today are posted and many hours of editing ahead of me ....best part of the weekend was seeing the "club team" from Quebec (Chelsea) competing and winning their first ever medal at the Nationals...
