First and foremost, thank you for your unwavering support during the challenges of 2025. Your commitment has kept the spirit of harness racing alive in British Columbia.
As you may know, the City of Surrey decision to close Fraser Downs Racetrack and the governments decision to end slot-machine revenue for horse racing in BC as of January 31, 2026, presents significant challenges. Nevertheless, HRBC is diligently working on the final steps to launch standardbred racing at Desert Park in Osoyoos. Most importantly, securing racing dates for 2026 is our top priority—and we need your help to make it happen.
Why Your Membership Matters:
• Only paid-up members in good standing can receive HRBC incentives and services when it is time to race in Osoyoos.
• Together, we can ensure a new chapter for harness racing in BC.
