Restorative lip tattoo 🖊️

From a dog bite at just 5 years old to now, this client had lived most of her life without a large portion of her top lip. This past year, I had the absolute honour of working with her through a restorative tattooing journey and these are her final results 🤍

We approached this very intentionally. Over the course of 1 year, we completed 3 sessions to slowly build shape, symmetry, and saturation. With previously traumatized skin, it’s never about rushing the result. It’s about respecting the tissue, working in layers, and allowing the skin to heal properly between each session.

My goal here wasn’t just colour. It was restoration, softness, and giving her something that felt like hers again.

Designing brows from scratch for someone experiencing complete brow loss is not just an appointment, it’s a responsibility. Every stroke is intentional. Every detail matters.

Watching this design come to life was so fulfilling, but being part of this client’s journey made it even more special. Brows frame the face, but they also restore confidence in ways that are hard to put into words.
