Meet Joslyn Young, CEO of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade (SWBOT) and one of the inspiring alumni featured in our latest Alumni Magazine.

Joslyn’s journey is a powerful example of how a strong foundation in journalism can shape an entire career. After completing her Certificate in Journalism at KPU, she built an impressive career spanning the Vancouver Sun, Global BC, the Union of BC Municipalities, CN Rail, and the Port of Vancouver - where she fostered relationships with chambers of commerce across Canada and around the world.

Today, as CEO of SWBOT, Joslyn continues to make a meaningful impact by championing and supporting businesses throughout the Surrey and White Rock community.

It's especially inspiring to know that Joslyn's first role at the Vancouver Sun came through a connection with a KPU professor, highlighting the lasting value of the KPU community.
