Kevin wanted to surprise his girlfriend Diane with something truly special… ❤️✈️

He had a photo taken of the two of them from the Airshow and had it printed on a soft, cozy blanket just for her. You can see it all in their faces — the moment he gave it to her, her face lit right up as she realized what it was.

It’s such a touching reminder of the incredible bond these two unlikely friends have formed — loving and supporting each other through some very difficult times.

And to top it off — Diane had her husband take it home with strict instructions not to touch it. Taking his wife's present from her boyfriend home… now that’s trust! 😄

Sometimes it’s the simple, heartfelt gestures that say the most 💕

Life sometimes takes us on unexpected detours…

I know it’s been quiet here lately. I want to let you all know that I’m still around, still working behind the scenes, still creating .....but life has thrown my family a pretty big curveball.

My partner, Kevin, has been going through a medical crisis these past few months. What started as back pain has turned into a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis. Right now, our focus is on getting him the care and support he needs as we navigate this next chapter.

Not my usual work — but so much fun!
My grandson Jude❤️ just turned 10🥳, and he wanted a 🇬🇧London-themed🇬🇧 birthday🎂. Of course, I had to jump in and help bring that vision to life!

I made two cardstock banners for the occasion:
• One featuring classic British icons like Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, a double-decker bus, and the iconic red phone booth — all tied together with Union Jack pennants.
• The other with a bold number 10 in a Union Jack design, the London Underground logo (with Jude replacing Underground), and more of those fun pennants.

It was such a joy to design and create these for him — and you’ll spot Jude in the photos too!
Let’s just say… cardstock is a little less forgiving than felt, but I loved the challenge.

Sometimes stepping outside your usual materials leads to something really special!
