Canada continues with another Provincial Nominee Program draw 🇨🇦
IRCC has issued 334 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under Express Entry for PNP candidates with a minimum CRS score of 805.
With back-to-back provincial nominee draws, one thing is becoming more clear in 2026 — targeted immigration pathways continue to play a major role in Canada’s immigration system.
For many applicants, provincial pathways are becoming more important than ever in long-term PR planning.

A lot of permanent residents in Canada don’t realize these citizenship rules until much later 🇨🇦
If you spent time in Canada before becoming a PR — as a worker or student — some of that time may still count toward your citizenship eligibility.
And another important fact:
An expired PR card does NOT automatically stop you from applying for citizenship. Your PR status and your PR card are not the same thing.
Small details like these can completely change someone’s timeline and planning.
