📍 ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: NATHAN McIVER

We're celebrating former Summerside Western Capitals players who went on to compete in the NHL and AHL.

A native of Kinkora, Prince Edward Island, Nathan McIver suited up for the Western Capitals before being selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the 8th round of the 2003 NHL Draft. He went on to play in the NHL with both the Vancouver Canucks and Anaheim Ducks, while also enjoying a lengthy professional career in the American Hockey League.

Following his playing career, McIver transitioned behind the bench and continues to make an impact in professional hockey as a coach, helping develop the next generation of players.

We're proud to celebrate the players who helped build the Western Capitals legacy and represent our organization at the highest levels of hockey.
