I was reviewing photos and videos of our recent family trip to the South of France⦠and this is something I really wanted to share with you allā¦ š«¶š»
Itās so easy to say āweāll do it next yearā or āweāre too busy right nowā. Life gets full, schedules donāt line up and somehow thereās always something that FEELS more urgent.
But the truth is, there will never be a perfect time!ā¦
You just have to decide that it matters enough to make the time.
Because one day, these trips wonāt just be trips⦠theyāll be the memories youāre so glad you didnāt put off! š¤
Hereās the key:
You have to develop the skill of thinking ahead. Thinking of yourself in the future and what regrets you might be carrying of the things you never tried, the places you never explored, or⦠the people you never spent that extra time with!
Make your choices right now so that your future self will hold incredible memories. Not heavy regrets.
Where is your next trip? Is it local or by plane? š āļø Is it solo or with friends or family? Let me know!

High achievers and high performers are often treated like the same thing.
But theyāre not! Does that surprise you? š®
Let me explain.
High achievers tend to measure success by output. More hours⦠More tasks completed⦠More boxes checked⦠More wins accumulatedā¦
Achievement becomes the goal!
High performers, on the other hand, operate differently!
They focus less on doing more, and more on performing better! Better focus⦠Better energy management⦠Better recovery⦠Better decisions about where effort actually belongsā¦
Itās a difference (and a mindset) I became very aware of in sport.
Any day, you could walk into any gym and see people doing more⦠More reps⦠more sets⦠more timeā¦
Elite athletes donāt simply push harder every day. They train with purpose⦠They recover with intention⦠They focus their effort where it will make the biggest difference.
Without that intention and that balance, performance eventually (and inevitably) breaks down.

I see the same pattern in business!
Many leaders are incredibly successful high achievers, with incredible output! But over time, constant output can come at a cost ā energy, clarity, creativity, even fulfillment!
I have high achieving clients who come to me to find balance⦠To find a place of high performance in all areas of their lives.
See⦠Balance is not a myth; Itās simply misunderstood!
And the leaders who sustain high performance long-term start thinking more like athletes.
They stop asking: āHow much more can we do?ā
And start asking: āHow well can we perform?ā
The shift is from quantity to quality. From volume to performance.Ā
And that shift changes everything.
