On behalf of the Atlantic Police Academy, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families, friends, and colleagues of the paramedics and patient involved in yesterday's tragic collision.

Our thoughts are with the entire Island EMS team and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. Our hearts go out to our emergency services partners during this incredibly difficult time.

Three Canadian police officer's have now been killed in the line of duty in less than two weeks. This is an unimaginably difficult moment for our policing community.

We here at the Academy extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of SVPM, Constable Benredouane, whose life was tragically lost in the line of duty.

This loss is a solemn reminder of the tremendous risks and sacrifices made every day by those who serve and protect our communities.

Today, we stand in solidarity with our policing partners across Canada as we honour Constable Benredouane's service and bravery.
