The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2006-born forward Nash Wassing from the Kamloops Storm of the BCHC (formerly the KIJHL), following a recent trade from the Grand Forks Border Bruins.

Wassing is a strong, power-forward type who previously affiliated with the Kings during his U18 AAA career with the Bowmark Oilers before moving into junior hockey full-time with the Grand Forks Border Bruins. Over two seasons with the Bruins, Wassing appeared in 80 regular-season games, recording a combined 62 points while helping the club capture a KIJHL Championship in 2025.

“We’re excited to add a player like Nash to our lineup,” said Kings General Manager Cody Holdaway. “He brings size, skill, and a proven ability to contribute offensively at the junior level. Adding a player of his calibre gives us more depth and goal-scoring ability throughout our top end, while continuing our commitment to building a championship-calibre team here in Strathmore.”
