🎉 Watch for the 1st Strathmore Scouts in the Strathmore Stampede Parade on August 1st! ⚜️

Our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers will be marching in the parade, and we’d love to see you there. Give us a wave if you spot us!

What a fantastic Canada Day at Kinsmen Park! 🇨🇦🛶

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for a canoe ride, stopped by to say hello, bought a drink, or supported our Scouts group throughout the day. It was great to see so many families enjoying the park and celebrating Canada Day with us.

We’d also like to thank our volunteers and youth members who helped make the day a success. Events like this wouldn’t happen without your hard work and enthusiasm.

If you took any photos during the canoe rides or at our booth, we’d love to see them! We were so busy we didn’t get many ourselves! Feel free to share them in the comments below so everyone can enjoy the memories.

Paddle Into Canada Day with 1st Strathmore Scouts! 🇨🇦

Looking for something fun to do on Canada Day?

1st Strathmore Scouts will be offering canoe rides at Kinsmen Park throughout the celebrations! Whether you're an experienced paddler or trying a canoe for the first time, come down and enjoy some time on the water with us!

We'll also be selling:
💧 Bottled Water
⚡ Gatorade

And don't forget to grab your tickets for our 50/50 draw for a chance to take home some extra cash while supporting local Scouting programs!

All proceeds help support youth programming and outdoor adventures for the members of 1st Strathmore Scouts.

We hope to see you at Kinsmen Park on Canada Day for a fun-filled day of community, paddling, and celebration!

🌟 Congratulations to Our North Star Award Recipients! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to celebrate three outstanding members of our Beaver Colony who have earned the North Star Award, the highest achievement available in the Beaver Scout section!

To earn this prestigious award, these Beavers demonstrated dedication, perseverance, leadership, community spirit, and a commitment to adventure. Along their journey, they completed Outdoor Adventure Skills stages, contributed meaningful service to their community, participated in service projects, and reflected on their personal growth as Scouts.

This achievement represents years of learning, exploring, helping others, and living the values of Scouting. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they have accomplished.

Please join us in congratulating our three North Star Award recipients on this remarkable milestone. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and positive example have made a lasting impact on our Colony.
