Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults shared lessons with 9C of reciprocity and gratitude, among other ideas. To honour and share their learnings, we completed four reciprocity projects for the land, school and community.
1. Bird houses and hotels around CMJHS
2. Pebble water stations for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators near our front flowers.
3. A seed library for seed swaps, to be located at SHS Community Greenhouse
4. A gratitude video, where students took time to think about what the earth provides that they are grateful for and what small, everyday things bring them joy.
It is remarkable to witness our grade 9 students thinking deeply, problem solving, collaborating together, and giving back to the Earth and community. We are excited to add our reciprocity projects to the others already established by former Crowther students.

Grade 8 year end field trip (Day 2). Good times were had at Monster Mini Golf and Splitsville bowling.
