Weekend Racing Recap

Another busy weekend for our ERS-supported teams, with strong performances, close races, and plenty of hard work in the pits!

NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals

•Spencer Hyde continued to show incredible consistency all weekend, laying down multiple 4.00-second passes before falling short in the second round.
•Jeff Arend had the starting line advantage in round one, but unfortunately began dropping cylinders and was forced to shut the car off early, ending his weekend sooner than hoped.
•Keith Murt and the Paton Racing Top Fuel team made their quickest run of the weekend with a strong 3.86-second pass. Despite the performance, they came up just short in round one by only 0.0311 seconds.

Race Cayuga Sportsman Series – Toronto Motorsports Park

•K.C. Kovacs had an outstanding weekend, racing his way to the semi-finals in both Super Pro and Quick Sportsman.
•Alyssa Stuart, competing as a hired gun for the Northern Foam Tech Jr. Dragster team, battled her way down to the final six cars.

The rest of the team spent the weekend cutting lights, making adjustments, turning wrenches, and supporting their fellow racers as they chased round wins.

Congratulations to Lui Ramundo, who took home Best Appearing honors for the Outlaw Fast 16!
