Jake Epp Library Community Programs

Spring Break Library Programs – March 30 to April 3, 2026

Join us for a full week of fun, creativity, and community at the library this Spring Break! From building with friends, crafts and gaming tournaments to family games, and cozy story times, there is something for every age! Programs run daily, and families are welcome to register for as many sessions as they’d like.

All programs require registration EXCEPT the following:
- Family Board Games + Puzzles
- Story Corner
- Bedtime Stories

Monday, March 30
10:00–10:45 — Junior Builders (Ages 5–8)
11:00–11:45 — Junior Builders (Ages 9–12)
1:00–2:30 — Mario Kart (Ages 7–9)

Tuesday, March 31
10:00–10:45 — Improv Club (Ages 5–8)
11:00–11:45 — Improv Club (Ages 9–12)
1:00–2:30 — Family Board Games + Puzzles

Wednesday, April 1
10:30–11:00 — Story Corner
11:30–12:15 — Crafty Critters (Ages 1.5–5)
1:00–2:30 — Mario Kart (Ages 10–12)

Thursday, April 2
2:00–3:30 — Family Board Games + Puzzles
4:30–6:15 — Mario Party Jamboree (Ages 7–12)
6:30–7:00 — Bedtime Stories

Friday, April 3
Library is CLOSED for Good Friday

All Children, Youth and Family programs at the Jake Epp Public Library are free and available to both Steinbach and non-Steinbach residents. A library membership is NOT required to participate!

Community Programs at the library are cancelled on Monday, March 2 - see you later in the week!

Adult Book Club “Fourth Wing” by Rebecca Yarros Drop-In
Ages 16+
Event is free, a library membership is not required unless you need to check out a copy of the book, and all programs are open to both Steinbach residents and non-residents.

Classic Games & Company
Ages 16+
Come for a self-directed time of socializing and playing a game or two during the daytime.
Choose from our selection of games or bring one from your home to share.

Adult Drop-In Games Night
Ages 16+
Come for a self-directed time of socializing and playing a game or two for the evening.

Adult Drop-In Creative Writing Club
Ages 18+
No experience necessary! A desire or interest in creative writing and to spend time with others interested in creative writing as well!

Teen Drop-In Creative Writing Club
Ages 13-17
No experience necessary! A desire or interest in creative writing and to spend time with others interested in creative writing as well!
