Introducing the residents of Jellybean Row! Sophia Neary brings lots of colour and energy to the neighbourhood as part of our ensemble!

Best Kind Productions’ outdoor family-friendly musical has become a summer tradition! This year, over 40 local youth will perform HOW DO YOU GET TO JELLYBEAN ROW? - an original musical with music, lyrics & Book by Kyle McDavid. This touching and hilarious Newfoundland-flavoured musical was a hit with audiences in 2018 and 2021. We’re so excited to bring it back, now with 4 new songs, and a fresh new vision, directed by Connor Fagan.

Nine year-old Molly Fodge of St. John’s spends blissful summer days in Jellybean Row - an enchanted land of dancing puffins and talking seagulls where endless rowhouses are painted all the colours of the rainbow. When the evil, bumbling racketeer, Big Jelly, enacts a 500 year-old curse, Jellybean Row disappears into the fog, leaving Molly, her parents, and her friends desperate to find a way back. An original musical about learning to embrace change, grow from mistakes, and see the fantastical in the world around you.
