Throwback to one of last year's most unforgettable field projects. 🚁🌄

Our team travelled through the breathtaking Akami–Uapishkᵘ–KakKasuak–Mealy Mountains National Park Reserve to support field investigations for future telecommunications infrastructure.

This drone view captures the incredible landscape, and our helicopter resting on the rocks between site visits. Projects like these highlight the unique environments our team works in to help improve connectivity in some of Canada's most remote regions.

Some job sites are definitely harder to forget than others.

Helping keep remote Labrador connected. 🚁

Some of the most critical telecommunications infrastructure is found in some of Labrador's most remote locations.

This week, our field teams travelled by helicopter to inspect structural reinforcing and newly installed telecommunications equipment, ensuring every installation met design requirements and was built to perform in one of Canada's harshest environments.

These inspections help ensure remote communication networks remain safe, reliable, and ready to serve the communities that depend on them every day. We're proud to play a role in helping keep remote Labrador connected.

Project Highlight: Pre & Post Blast Inspections of Critical Telecommunication Infrastructure

When blasting is required to clear land for construction, the resulting ground vibrations can pose a risk to nearby infrastructure. Our team was engaged to conduct pre- and post-blast inspections of critical telecommunications infrastructure located near active blasting zones.

By documenting the condition of structures before blasting and reassessing them afterward, we were able to identify any potential impacts and provide stakeholders with clear, defensible records of asset condition. This process helps protect critical infrastructure, supports risk management efforts, and provides confidence that essential telecommunications services remain safeguarded throughout construction activities.

From detailed field inspections to thorough reporting, our team delivers the information needed to make informed decisions and maintain infrastructure integrity during high-impact construction projects.
