Fresh off my Baja Divide bikepacking trip, I landed back in Canada and jumped straight into another EPIC adventure… this time, a bucket list mission: ski and surf in the same day.

and I had been DREAMING about pulling this off for years, and we were stoked to finally line everything up and make it happen. We had four massive projects planned and even managed to secure a sponsor to help support this crazy idea.

The only problem? After a 3-month bikepacking trip… I no longer had a vehicle. And we definitely needed something that could handle everything we were about to throw at it.

Long drives to Tofino. Back-and-forth between the mountains and the coast. Suitcases of clothes, wardrobe cases, lighting equipment, camera gear, ski touring gear, surfing gear… the amount of equipment we had to haul was honestly wild.

I reached out to Chevrolet Canada and was over the moon when they let us test out the brand new Chevrolet Trail Boss (in literally my favourite colour ever).

I think this video speaks for itself… but this truck absolutely came in clutch.
