“Hi everyone, my name is Bean and I am a nine-month-old Great Pyrenees/ German Shepherd girl. I don't think I will be a large dog, maybe more of a medium size. I am very soft and have lots of medium length hair. I am a very happy girl and just love being around my people. I sleep in a crate at night and I have been learning how to sit on command and I am working on no jumping up on people. I haven't quite master that one yet. I am doing well with my leash training, as I have a foster brother that helps me with my walking speed. I would benefit from some obedience training. I am a little frightened of new places and sounds, but my foster mom helps me with my fears. I think would make a great companion animal. Update on Penelope: After being fostered by one of our vet partners for the last couple of months, Penelope was able to leave the vet clinic and move into a foster home this week. We are extremely thankful to everyone who bought tickets to support her care and to the vet clinics that were instrumental in getting her to the point of being able to go to a foster home. We can't save animals, like Penelope, without vet partners, volunteers, and supporters.

Meet Spicy Taco!

Mr. Spicy Taco does not like change! This poor boy gets very scared when moving to a new place or meeting new cats. He tends to get "spicy" and hiss, but it's out of fear, not aggression.

Give him some time and patience, a consistent routine, and food (he loves his food!) and watch him blossom into a loving and devoted companion.

He'll come over for pets, purring, and meow for you to get out the toys!
