She has committed her career to counselling and therapy after completion of her Masters Degree in Social Work, Specializing in Clinical Practice in 2006. Throughout her career she has worked within many different settings and has experience with mental health issues, custody and access issues, legal issues, physical health issues, etc. Rebecca has been serving the Parkland area with counselling services and within her own private practice since 2005. She works together with various populations, including: adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. She has experience working together with mental health issues, including: anxiety disorders, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Post Partum Depression, Attention Deficit Disorder; issues relating to separation, divorce, blended families, relationship issues, work-related stress, communication issues, conflict management, anger management, coping skills, legal issues, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, and self-development. Rebecca utilizes various therapeutic modalities, which are best suited according to the client’s wants and needs. Some of the therapeutic modalities used are: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Brief Therapy, Gottman Couples Counselling, Hypnosis, Past Life Regression Hypnosis, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Rebecca has been committed to her clientele throughout the years of her practice and works extremely hard to build a positive therapeutic experience for each of her clients and to provide the highest quality of counselling services.
