Due to the ongoing Air Quality Health Index alerts, SMBA has had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 11U/Mosquito A and Under Tournament.

🥈TOURNAMENT FINALISTS

This weekend the 10U team, (sponsored by Best Weigh Scales), hosted the 10U/Mosquito A and Under Tournament at Lions Park and finished the weekend as Finalists!

After a rain delay on Friday, the team got things started with a walk-off, 10-9 win against Waterloo Tigers.

On Saturday, after a late game the night before and an early start, the team were slow to get started, falling 13-2 to Mahoney Bears. The team rallied for their second game, pulling off an 8-6 win against Guelph Royals before falling 10-6 to Waterdown Wolves.

Finishing third after Round Robin play, the team moved to the Semis on Sunday for a rematch against Waterdown. The team captured the lead in the bottom of the first inning and although they traded runs throughout the game, managed to stay on top, winning 12-8.

In the Finals, the team had a rematch against Mahoney and, although they were off to an early lead, fell short throughout the game.
