There is plenty of bread at Cedar Street Community Church for the spiritually needy; there is plenty of medicine for the sin-sick soul. There is solace for the hurt and weary and there is life for the dead, because there is life in one look at the Crucified One. Sunday am 10:30, HOPE for all!

I first met this woman on the last Sunday in October 2020 when I began to fill the pulpit at CSCC; the peace of God emanated from her inner being. I introduced myself to her and she in a womanly manner told me her name, “I am Martha!” I right away had a sense she was a special lady and I wasted no time in teasing her a little. Pastor Ron told me there was a woman at the church who had cancer and was not expected to live much longer, but I envisioned a miserable soul languishing on a deathbed, I had no idea it was Martha. I preached at the church all the way till the end of August 2021 and Martha attended almost every one of the meetings and when the floor was open to give testimonies, she was one of the first to stand up and give God praise for His goodness to her. She came out to prayer meeting and Bible study on Thursday afternoons and quietly listened to the teaching and added brilliant insights from her own study and experience. When she prayed she seemed to reach the heart of God with so few words, I think because she never broke communion with Him. Two Sundays after we left the church her faith was made sight, and she was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, where she continued sweet communion without hindrance from this sinful world. She will be sorely missed, but I am sure heaven rejoiced as one of God’s saints came home.

The Narrow Way August 23, 2021 In this world of shifting values, and changing morals, and a church that is staggering as a drunken man, we still have them narrow way. If we do not take it ...
