🎉 Mission Accomplished! 🎉

This past week, we set out to tackle the mountain of donated clothing that had been growing since we opened.

At times, it felt like we would never see the bottom! 😅 Bag after bag kept arriving, and the pile seemed to grow faster than we could sort it.

But thanks to an incredible team of volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and got to work, we are excited to report that just after closing on Saturday… we finally reached the bottom! 🙌

We are so grateful for every person who has given their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help make ReFIND a success. The amount of work accomplished by our volunteers continues to amaze us.

🌿We have to share this incredible transformation! 🌱

The gardens outside ReFIND had seen better days, and then one evening, Rob from Five Points Lawn & Landscaping showed up and got to work. When we arrived at the store the next morning, we were amazed. The overgrown gardens had been completely transformed into a beautiful, welcoming space.

It’s hard to put into words how much gestures like this mean. ReFIND has been built by people who have generously given their time, talents, and resources, and Rob’s kindness is another example of our community coming together to support this mission.

Thank you, Rob, for your hard work, generosity, and for helping make ReFIND look its very best. We appreciate you more than you know!

What an incredible first week we’ve had at ReFIND!

Now it’s time to put our feet up for a day (or catch up on all that housework we’ve been ignoring at home! 😉).

We never could have imagined the response we’ve received from our community. In just our first week, we welcomed over 1,100 customers through our checkout and found new homes for more than 5,000 items!

The donation doorbell seemed to ring nonstop, and our volunteers worked tirelessly to sort, stock, and serve with smiles every day.

We are overwhelmed by the support, generosity, and encouragement we’ve received. Thank you to everyone who has shopped, donated, volunteered, shared our posts, and cheered us on.

Most of all, we give God all the glory for this amazing start. We can’t wait to see what the weeks ahead will bring!

We know how to have fun at ReFIND!

One of the more interesting donations we’ve received was a complete set of motorcycle gear. Naturally, we had to see how it looked! Safe to say, we’re not quite ready for the racetrack… especially on that bike! 😂

One thing we’ve discovered is that our volunteers work hard, but they also have a lot of fun! The store is buzzing with activity, and we’re always looking for more helping hands. If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, we’d love to have you join our team….especially if you know how to have fun!!
