It was fun to go back and revisit old images and see how far I've come with my editing. I had just bought my MacBook Pro 17" and the Creative Suite from Adobe, bought lights from Vistek where I had bought most of my equipment and was nervous and anxious to get started.

Couldn't get any model to commit to a shoot and constantly got flaked on but I persevered because I fell in love with digital imagery. I had no idea what I was doing but I kept learning online and through courses but nothing prepares you better than just going ahead and shooting.

I was lucky with my first paid travelling model who was so patient with me and we are still friends to this day although I don't think she is modelling anymore, but I'm ever so grateful for her helping me out and being a star for the time we spent together on my days off from working up in Fort McMurry, AB
