Company description:

Bella Casa Moving and Two Rivers Delivery are a small, local moving and delivery company with a reputation for excellent customer service and quality moving throughout lower Manitoba. Due to an increase in business we are currently hiring to accommodate our growth.

Positions: Driver/Mover - Part time/Casual/On Call

Duties:
- Driving a 5 ton manual truck for moving and delivery company
- Be able to lift 50lbs plus
- Provide excellent customer service
- At moves, greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises
- Load and unload truck (as part of a team of 2)
- Keeps the customer and management informed of anticipated delays and any additional information needed to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability
- Safely move/pack/unpack customer’s belongings by utilizing all of the proper moving equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies
- Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
- Accurately complete paperwork

Job Requirements
- Must have clean driver's abstract
- Must have experience driving a 5 ton manual truck
- Knowledge of city of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
- Commitment to customer service excellence and exceeding the customer's expectations
- Positive attitude
- Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Experience in the fields of general labor, moving, and or delivery
- Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Have reliable transportation to where our trucks are parked
- Valid Canadian driver's license and good driving record
- Legally allowed to work in Canada

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour
Part time/Casual/On call

With the wonderful help of the amazing teens of Lord Selkirk Regional Comp High School Student Council, Bella Casa Moving Co will be delivering hampers this year for Kevin Christiansen's Selkirk Xmas Hamper Drive.

Bella Casa is collecting donations to go towards these hampers. If you would like to sponsor a family, I can put you in touch with Kevin. If you would like to donate any food items, toys, gift cards etc, Bella Casa can pick them up or you may drop them off at our office and we will bring the items to Kevin, or you may directly drop them to Kevin's warehouse yourself.
